COMMENT = I was very impressed with the quality of service provided by David Smith painter and decorator. in terms of the decorating itself, Dave has the knowledge and expertise to ensure all works are done well. I was delighted with the end result which was the complete re-decoration of four rooms to a very high standard. Additionally, he did a great job of project managing the work, which included plastering and at one point calling up a builder, whilst I was out of area with work. He works with a reliable network of skilled people of various trades who he calls upon when required. Dave regularly updated me and contacted me with questions only when absolutely necessary. Overall it was a great relief to be able to trust that everything would be done to my satisfaction, even in my absence. My first contact with Dave, who was recommended to me by a friend, was to discuss at length, what it was that I wanted him to do. It was crucial for me that he had the patience and interest to discuss possibilities, weighing up the pros and cons, in order to iron out exactly what was wanted. Dave was also very thoughtful and creative and I appreciated suggestions he made and ideas of his own which he offered. I found Dave to be entirely reliable, accessible, and transparent. He clearly documented the agreed work to be done which included insurance. Nothing was too much trouble and he made what could have been a very complicated and stressful time into a problem-free zone. I will certainly call on him again.

We worked closely with the owners to fully decorate this new cottage built to a very high standard.
